A second German Aviation expert Has Said MH17 Brought Down By Air To Air Missile

From an expert point of view,” the launch of the Malaysian Boeing was “ruled by an indigenous air defense missile with high probability” on July 17 on the Eastern Ukraine. This is the assessment retired Colonel Bernd Biedermann in an article for the daily newspaper published in Berlin “new Germany” (Thursday edition).

Had Splitter a surface to air missile hit the plane, it would immediately catch fire, argues the NVA anti-aircraft missile specialist. Cause is the “big frictional heat that generate splinter on strike-through of the missile. A single contains the same kinetic energy as a 40-ton freight car that runs 60 kilometers per hour on a buffer.”

In the case of Malaysian Boeing scattered fires had broken out after the impact with the ground, because hot aircraft parts had come in contact with combustible materials. Biedermann is familiar with Soviet and Russian air defense technology, he led units in the duty officer system in East Germany and taught at the Military Academy in the field of anti-aircraft missile troops.

And here’s another view from Investment Watch

Articles are beginning to appear across the Web to the effect that Angela Merkel is disturbed by (and growing tired of) the incessant US propaganda being emitted in favour of its energy agenda….and so we must perhaps in turn view these articles in the light of her alleged new agenda concerning the creation of an alternative bloc to that of America. (More on this here in the near future).

But spin or not, these analyses make sense. The US State Dept has now shifted its position from ‘Russian atrocity’ to ‘tragic accident’. The above opinions suggest that neither are true: they suggest strongly that the Ukrainian air force took out MH17.

If any stupid little tit comes along saying he’s a scientist so that proves he’s right and that because I question the western propaganda it means I believe the Russian propaganda and he knows better because he’s a scientist (read the comment thread on this blog and you will understand what I mean), just remind yourself that a scientists does not jump to conclusions but considers all the evidence and delivers a considered opinion. Further remind yourself that “Well Barack Obama said so,” does not constitute evidence.

So far the Russians have offered evidence but it is not conclusive. The government in Kiev have offered evidence that has been quickly exposed as fake. And a spokesperson for the US State Department has directed American news reporters to social media if they want evidence. So do you support the gullible idiot who believes every word that comes out of the teleprompter of the proven liar barack Hussein Obama, or do you look at ALL the reports and make up your own mind that a wise person would decline to pass judgement until an independent inquiry has published its findings?

  1. Jim Says:

It is impossible – the Su-25 Frogfoot is a ground attack aircraft; a modern Sturmovik or, if you like, a Rooskie version of the A-10 Warthog. The wingspan and length of the Su-25 is about 50 feet each, and the mass is about 38,000lbs with a combat load. The ceiling of an unladen Su-25 is about 23,000 feet. With full combat load, an Su-25 can only make it to 16,000 feet.

Not impossible at all, unless you are suggesting the SU25s rammed the Boeing (a tactic which I believe fell out of favour by the time sail replaces oars as the best way to drive ships). As you say, the SU25 has an altitude limit of just over 22000 feet. Some recent variants can do better but there is no suggestion these were involved.
The R60 air to air missiles used with them however has a flight altitude of 20,000m (66,000 ft) With its infra red guidance system and proxinity detonation the R60 would perform as the two experts quoted in linked articles have described.

Do a little fact checking before you hit the keyboard to reply.
