The Rweeted Reactions Of Leftie Celebs To Election Result Were Priceless

May 9, 2015

I’m still not actually thinking due to events not related in any way to the election. So here’s another post full of content gleaned from elsewhere.

Celebrity lefties resposnes to the conservative election victory.

@Kevin Maguire
Most terrifying of all is the Tories won as the Nasty Party. What does that say about Britain?

Well Kev, as it was you dubbed them the nasty party I guess it says Britain thinks you and your ludicrous pastiche of a newspaper are irrelevant

@charlottechurch
The politics of fear is the politics of control and we’ve given the reigns to the bogey men.

As you’ve blown most of your millions on trying to be a rock chick Charile, I suppose you’re afraid of benefit cuts.

@jk_rowling
I remember single parenthood under the Tories and @Gingerbread’s going to be very important in the next 5 years.

So what are you saying JK, that all single women are so stupid that having no job and few skills they’ll celebrate the election result by getting up the duff? Was it the fault of the conservatives that you got pregnant?

@OwenJones84
Don’t mourn. Organise. And this time, let’s actually mean it.

That is actually coming from a prepubescent pustule who can’t even organise his own fake accent so we can tell if he’s pretending to be a Cheshire posh boy, an Oxbridge elitist or a skanky Mank.

Looking over them brings to mind a line from that brilliant American satirist P J O’Rourke (PJ, being American, uses ‘liberalism’ in the sense we use ‘loony left’:

“At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child — miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats.”

Best election moment since Portillo went down in ’97

But as Oscar Wilde might have said, to lose one party leader is unfortunate, to lose two looks like carelessness, but to lose three is hostile action.

I was quite taken with this extract from a blog reposted on Zero Hedge. Not too sure the words ‘conservative landslide’ in the title are appropriate, it was the SNP landslide that gave Cameron a very small majority, but the rest is good reading.

Saxo Bank CEO Lars Seier Christensen reacts to the Conservative landslide victory in the UK.

When you, like me, are used to a proportional representation system, it feels bizarre that the third largest party hardly gains a seat, but still, Nigel Farage has had a lot of beneficial influence on Britain’s EU policy.

Hopefully, Brussels also gets the message but I doubt it. The EU never rolls anything back. It continues to amass more and more control in all areas.

The bureaucracy in Brussels has no self-criticism. No regrets. No matter how much and how often it fails. It just continues the roll out of its powers, and it will continue unabated, until someone says enough is enough. Until someone says stop.

The election outcome in Britain is our one chance to say stop!

YEAH!

So Who Practices The Politics Of Evil

November 9, 2014

I’m always gobsmacked at the number of UKIP Haters and Leftie Screechers in blogs and comment threads (mostly comment threads ~ left wing bloggers usually tent to have a little more intelligence) who insist on comparing UKIP to that American phenomenon The Tea Party, a phemonenon because while it does not actually exist as a political organisation in the way that our Labour, Conservative, UKIP, SNP and Green Parties exist (I don’t think we have any other true political parties :> ) the Tea Party holds a powerful grip on the left wing mindset.

Tea Party this, Tea Party that, these distinctly unoriginal thinkers grizzle, echoing each other until Owen Jones dictates the next meme for them. The strange thing is, these people, like America’s illiberal and intolerant ‘liberals’ are quite convinced their autoritarian ideology represents all that is good and just in society and set themselves up as defenders of the freedoms of anointed minorities while damning mainsteam society.

Let’s take a look at how American democrats, having hypocritically accused Republicans (referred to as The Tea Party) of electoral fraud, terrorism, anarchism and arson (?) for the crime of opposing the ‘liberal’ agenda, have been caught red handed promoting the politics of hate, printing lies about opponents (we know all politicians tell lies, by lying about opponents personal lives in print is so utterly beyond stupid only self righteouss zealots would try it) and committing blatant electoral fraud themselves. To set the scene take a look at this snippet from online news site the ironically named TPNN, which reports on the battle on Taxas between whhelchair bound Republican Greg Abbott and his Democrat opponent Wendy Davis, nicknamed Abortion barbie for her plastic looking fearures and obsession with pushing abortion as the preferred means of birth control:

“Democrat Wendy Davis’s empty wheelchair ad against her disabled Republican opponent, Greg Abbott, represented a new low in gutter politics. Davis even doubled down on her despicable ad, even defending it in the face of extreme bipartisan criticism.

“As bad as Abortion Barbie’s ad is, she may have just outdone herself with this tweet from her official Twitter account on Monday, which accuses Greg Abbott as being against interracial marriage, an obvious desperate ploy to deceive minorities into voting for her.

“But there’s just one tiny, little problem which annihilates Davis’s charge. Abbott’s wife, Cecilia, is of Hispanic heritage, the granddaughter of immigrants from Mexico. Abbott IS in an interracial marriage, and Davis knows it.

GOTCHA!

The next story is from my fiend, US Political journalist Renee Nal, look at it and ask yourselves can the people who attempt such things be sane:]

“After being accused of “photoshopping” the featured image which illustrates that newly-elected Governor Greg Abbott’s name was missing from a voting machine in Bexar County, Texas, San Antonio voter Jade Stanford is vindicated, as reported at MySanAntonio

“Bexar County also made the news after Democratic Party Chairman Manuel Medina admitted to creating a political ad referring to the Tea Party as “radical terrorists.

“Medina, of course, is only following in the footsteps of prominent Democrats who have referred to the Tea Party as radicals, anarchists, extremists, terrorists, unbiblical, legislative arsonists, committing jihad, have bombs strapped to their chests, committing extortion, taking hostages, want to “tear down the house our founders built,” want to “blow up the global economy,” and are “holding a gun to the head of Americans.”

“As reported at the Brenner Brief, voting machines across America experienced “calibration” issues which changed Republican votes to the respective Democrat candidates across the country. In tight races in particular, a few faulty machines could sway an election.”

They’re All In It Together

November 12, 2013

Told you so. The three main political parties are all the same organisation, a local branch of the New World Order, they cover one anothers’ arses and serve the same masters. Want proof?

Here it is:

David Cameron blocks report that exposes Tony Blair’s Iraq war crimes

‘David Cameron is blocking publication of the Iraq Inquiry report because it confirms a secret conspiracy by Bush and Blair to take the US and Britain into an illegal war.

While David Cameron was laying wreaths of poppies at the Cenotaph this weekend, to remember the past war dead, he has been blocking an inquiry set up to tell the truth about the war in Iraq.

That is the meaning of the refusal of the Cabinet secretary, Sir Jeremy Heywood, to release records of conversations between then prime minister and US president George Bush, in the run up to the war on Iraq.

Now WTF is a Conservative Prime Minister whose party is trailing in the polls thinking about when he passes up the chance to nail a Labour former Prime Minister as a traitor and war criminal? If Cameron was a politician rather than a New World Order office boy he could have stitched up Labour and guaranteed winning the next election three times in the past three weeks.

And you know how the old saying goes, once is circumstance, twice is coincidence and three times means you’ve been kicked up the arse by your corporate bosses.

I’m not going to do a Russell Brand and say don’t vote. I say vote for absolutely anybody so long as they have nothing to do with the three main parties.

Brand Plays A Blinder

November 8, 2013

I never thought I’d say this but Russell Brand is playing a blinder. The self proclaimed prolific shagger, official jester to the metrosexual left, quasi – Dickensian cheeky chappie and fan of David Icke has, almost single handedly, made it respectable to dissent from the government line again. He has become a hate figure for both left and right after his outburst against the ineffectual nature of the failed political system, the corporate and scientific hijacking of public debate, government, the legal system, education and the media (the science is never settled guys, not now, not ever, never so shut the fuck up or take your insane cult of Scientism to Crazifornia, the home of post modern idiocy).

Now normally I would rather sup surströmming from a shit shovellers salopette than watch Russell, I don’t think narcissism as comedy is funny, but having pissed off both the left and right simultaneously he must be onto something.

The left are sneering at Brand’s naïveté in wanting to talk about corruption in high places, the unhealthy influence wielded by banks on society and other ‘trivial’ issues instead of understanding that the most important things society has to deal with are gay rights, equality for paedophiles and the scrapping of all immigration controls. The political right are raging that Brand is just another media luvvie playing at being a leftie to get a ride on the politically correct bandwagon.

In fact he is neither, what Russell Brand has been advocating is far more radical, he is talking about real liberalism bordering on anarchy. While the neo Nazis of the Lib Dems, Labour and the Cameronist wing of the Conservatives are talking about authoritarianism disguised with a veneer of political correctness, Brand and conspiracy theorists like David Icke are talking about real genuine individual freedom, the freedom to think for ourselves (and not least the freedom to promote themselves). The kind of freedom that will defend those who oppose uncontrolled immigration against charges of racism, who are against legalising same sex marriage against charges of homophobia (fear of the same thing?) or call for our withdrawal from the EU against accusations of being Little Englanders. A true liberal believes everybody has a right to express their own opinion, rather than just to repeat the opinions approved by the establishment and printed or broadcast by establishment / corporate controlled media.

Though never a fan of fan of the pre – Raphaelite featured comedian I find myself in sympathy with him as he faces hate attacks from all sides. The hate campaign has as always been led by the conformist left whose polemical ravings about Brand’s narcissistic belief that he has the right to speak for the left, yoof, the future, etc., although the traditional right have not been far behind. But Russell Brand has not elected himself, he has been co – opted by default, by the vacuum at the core of British politics. He is speaking for some of the most alienated and disenfranchised groups because, fearful of offending the Politically Correct Thought Police, nobody in the political establishment will step up and speak for them.

In the same way Nigel Farage has become the unofficial and unelected spokesman for the traditional Conservative constituency while George Galloway sometimes acts as the voice of the traditional Labour voter. More mainstream politicians, in their desperation to “engage with minorities” have abandoned the heartlands and are far too ready to dismiss the concerns of white, straight, cultural Christian, middle and working class voters as “bigotry”.

After Brand’s demolition of lefty bully boy Paxman on BBC’s Newsnight, which followed a similar demolition of the cliché spouting presenters of an American political talkshow a few weeks earlier it would be dangerous to assume we have discovered a new political messiah. What Russell Brand has done is expose the intellectually bankruptcy of both left and right, their total inability to propose anything that looks remotely like a solution to our problems (a return to the borrow and spend economics of the past twenty years will only achieve our total enslavement to the Debt Baron Rothschild clan and further austerity will lead to deflation higher unemployment and eventually to more borrowing and our enslavement by the debt barons.

Now someone has stood up and said these things will our political leaders understand they have lost touch with the voters or will they whine wimpishly about how overwhelmingly important it is, compared to trivialities like economics, jobs, ending conflict and shaking off the yoke of the debt barons that we make sure bearded queens in bridal gowns are getting what they want.

The Death Of Free Markets

July 17, 2012

Tim Worstall is a Thatcherite Conservative and a fan of free trade and globalisation. In response to an article in The Guardian about how Dairy Farmers are being squeezed by the supermarkets and broken on the wheel of EU regulations he penned a response accusing our dairy farmers of being uincompetitive and unable to face the challenges of a free market economy. All he proved is that the left don’t have a monopoly on stupid, arrogant twats.

Thatcherite conservatives in the UK and Reaganite Republicans in the USA love to talk of free markets and the utopia they create. But do free markets ever exist. What looks like a free market from above is anything but when viewed from the ground.Policies supposed to protect the efficient have been hijacked by a cartel of food retail chains. Dairy Farmers are being driven to bankruptcy because the”free market” in milk is entirely controlled by the big supermarkets.

The Truth About The Economy, Crime, Education And Everything Else.

January 26, 2010

Increasingly desperate as all their efforts to stem the advance of the BNP in barking, Barnsley and Burnley seem to amount to nothing, the Labour government has resorted to its favourite tactic: telling lies.

This month alone they have told lies about Swine Flu (apparently hundreds of people who lived near you have died of it) ; the have claimed unemployment has started to fall when in fact the only reason the figure was lower is that they stopped counting people whose benefit has been suspended because they have not tried hard enough to find jobs; today they announced the economy is out of recession and growing once more though the 0.1% growth in the final quarter of the year was achieved as a result of the government’s manufacturing monopoly money to a sum equal to about 10% of the gross domestic product and giving it to banks, public service contractors and foreign car manufacturers.

The most outrageous lie however has been the claim that “reported” crime has fallen. Nobody now reports crime as they fear they will be arrested and charged with not being polite enough to the burglars who have broken into their house and are stealing all their stuff. Added to that, Labour’s Politically Correct Thought Police, knowing that most crime is committed by males aged 12 – 24 stopped counting crimes committed by the under 16 because the poor little darlings don’t understand mugging and housebreaking, twocking and setting fire to property is wrong.

What is really off – pissing about the Labour government, and let’s not delude ourselves the Conservatives will be any different when they are in power, is they persist in the irrational belief that if they chant statistics over and over again the only people who will not believe them are the most misanthropic and congenitally evil supporters of the rabid right. People who do not believe official statistics are insane, Gordon Brown more or less said a few months ago.

Insulting the punters by calling them stupid is bad enough, saying they are insane is suicidal. It is not the people who refuse to believe statistics that are bonkers but those dwindling few Guardian writers who believe the statistics put out to make the case that Labour politicians are really nice people who are doing a good job in very difficult circumstances.

If you are one of those people who clings to a lingering feeling that Labour can’t be all bad because they care about minorities, orphans (so long as they are not British orphans) and foxes, her is an example of how statistics are made to tell lies.

A recent report complied by a left wing think tank to address the appalling take up of GCSE A level courses in Languages complained that criticism of the state education policy on Language courses is unfair. Yes it is correct to say A level pupils in private schools got a lot more good pass grades in languages than state school pupils. “Look at the statistics,” they whined, “80%of pupils in private schools take at least on A level in a foreign language, only 40% of state school pupils are entered for the exams. No wonder the private education system gets better results.

Let’s re – examine that in a computer professional’s logic rather than New Labour logic. The number of pupils in private education in 7%. The number of pupils in state education is 93%. So 80% of 7% is … I could never be arsed with maths, let’s say about 5.5% and 40% of 93% is roughly 37%. This means five and a half percent of pupils got more A level grade A and Bs than 37%. And that is a case for banning private education?

The idea of the old Grammar Schools, the selective education so hated by the “Progressive Left” was that bright children from poorer homes who have as good a chance of getting on as those whose parents could afford private education. As usual it is a case of the left in trying to be fair to everyone ending up being unfair to everyone but trying to conceal the facts with bogus statistics. And the Conservatives were just the same last time they were in power and will be again. The audacity of their claims that the voters are too stupid to understand official data is one of the reasons people have lost faith in politics, the professions and everything.

The reason the Conservatives are losing votes universally to UKIP and Labour is losing votes to the BNP in Barking, Barnsley and Burnley ( not to mention Bradford and Birmingham), to the Lib Dems in Lichfield, Luton and Littlehampton, to the Greens in Gateshead, Garstang and Gillingham and for all we know to The Hurricane Party in Hertford Hereford and Hampshire is not because the voters there are drawn to alliteration (in fact few of the 97% educated in state schools are likely to know what alliteration is) but because they think the punters are so simple minded they will believe any old bollocks if it is backed by a few official statistics.
