The End Of The Social Justice Warriors

March 7, 2019
After the discrediting of the Social Justice Warriors (SJWs), whose failing was that their interest in promoting ‘fairness and equality’ only extended to groups they thought of as victimised minorities and so was really nothing more than the virtue signalling of a self – righteous group, we now have the anti – SJW movement.
This is one of the topics I and my colleagues would like to cover if only we had time to opine on all things worthy of comment. For now I’ll share for readers of this blog, a question I saw on Quora, along with a very good answer, and an even better reponse, adding further criticism of liberal hypocrisy to that answer …

Marilyn Manson Does Not Know What Racism Is. Do You?

November 7, 2014
Its a sad comment on our society when we need a professional weirdo like Marilyn Manson to stand up to the the neo-fascist bullying of the ‘liberal’ wankerati on our behalf. But any defender of free speech and freedom of thought against the left wing hate merchants is to be welcomed.

Marilyn Manson

This blog had often commented on the debating technique the left stole from Hitler’s National Socialists, that of shutting down debate by screaming “racist” and “bigot” at anyone who challenges certain dogmas in their catechism (yes dogma and catechism are religious terms, has it not struck you that the ‘progressive left’ are like fanatical religious zealots?)

The Marilyn Manson incident, covering an exchange in an online intereview for The Bret Easton Ellis podcast, was reported in The Independent. As the interview went on two hours, I’ll just give the transcript of the relevant section rather than posing the video. At this stage Manson and the interviewer are discussing racism. Manson has been accused of racism by the screeching mob many times.(Spelling errors in the transcript have not been corrected.)

Ellis: “Getting back to the idea of racism and how it’s so widely applied to people now, it’s just gotten crazy.”

Manson: “I don’t even really know what to do with it. You know, it’s the old tradition of like, ‘Yeah man I got a lot of black friends, I got a lot of Jewish friends’ or whatever, it’s like, the people that I know that are my friends that are black are completely comfortable with my sense of humour because I think that racism is more about if something is like – whatever, it’s a stupid word, it’s a made up word, it’s an ism. Jizm is an ism. (Um – no it’s not but we knoiw what you mean – Boggart Blog)

“But it’s like if you’re not doing something hateful to somebody, you’re not trying to hurt somebody, then it’s not really a problem. You can make comments about culture, don’t avoid the elephant in the room. Stand-up comedians can say whatever they want and somehow that’s a free reign but if you say it as a rockstar, say it as a writer, sometimes people misinterpret it – people interpret everything differently.

“But it’s a silly way of someone trying to – the other lesson I learned in journalism class was if you criticise something it makes you sound like a better writer than if you compliment it.”

Ellis: “Of course that’s true and that’s why I think there’s so many haters on the internet, but racism, you know, let’s just clarify, does exist, in a big way.”

from The Independent:

It is true to say racism exists but accusing people who advocate immigration controls of being motivated by racism is just an attempt to deny them the right to hold their opinions, just as left wing haters deliberate misinterpretation of UKIP’s policy of limiting immigration and enforcing the border controls that exist in law as an intention to ban all immigration is an attempt to shut down discussion. Sadly the left have to resort to this kind of thing because they have no coherent argument to support their position.

The left do exactly the same when intelligent and justified criticisms of the ‘gay rights’ lobby are shouted down with screams of homophobia.

It is satisfyingly ironic that in depth analysis of polling data shows it is the left’s hysterical hatred of British culture, British values and traditions, anything British and the British working and lower middle classes that is driving UKIP’s surge in opinion polls.

What Is Democracy? Alf and Vlad know.

March 28, 2014

Alf Garnett

I’ve been accused of being opposed to democracy (bloggers get accused of all sorts, we’re immune to criticism) for presenting the Russian point of view in my comments on the Ukraine crisis.

These people then tell me as if they are imparting some great news I was unaware of, that “Russia is not a democracy.”

I’m aware of that, I’m also aware that Britian, the EU nations and the USA are no more democratic in the classical sense than Russia. News is manipulated, access to information controlled (and what a great tool the internet has turned into for those whose interests are served by restricting access to information. No matter, who needs the truth as long as you have Boggart Blog.

But what is democracy in this modern technological world. We have come so far from the Athens of Artistotle or the Rome of Quintus Fabius or or Cornelius Scipio. Democratic rule does not really work very well after a community’s population passes about 250,000.

So when people tell me Russia is not a democracy it is, is it not, a case of pot calling kettle back.

What I object to is the way the media call anyone undemocratic the moment they fail to fall ino line and do as bidden by Barack Hussein Obama acting on behalf of his wall Street / BIS bosses. Who elected him to tell Russians what to do, or Europeans of Brits for that matter.

Well with a bit of luch we will be “having a democratic word” with Dave and Co. about their willingness to abdicate their responsibilities and surrender British sovereignty to unelected control freaks.

And if they ignore us, we should perhaps remind them of the words of that great political thinker Alf Garnett: “You can’t ‘ave proper democracy wivout killing people.”

As this Russian example demonstrates.

from The Daily Telegraph
Boris Berezovsky, the Russian oligarch and critic of Vladimir Putin, may have been murdered, a coroner ruled.

Mr Berezovsky’s daughter, Elizaveta, had told how she feared that he had been assassinated by Kremlin “enemies” for warning that the Russian president was a “danger to the world”.

A forensic pathologist hired by Mr Berezovsky’s family also told the inquest that he believed the former billionaire had been strangled to death by a “third party”.

Mr Berezovsky, 67, was found dead in a bathroom at his former wife’s £20 million home in Ascot, Berks, in March last year. He had a ligature around his neck.

The inquest previously heard that a mystery fingerprint was found near the body and a paramedic’s radiation alarm had sounded upon entering the house, leading to speculation that the oligarch was killed by Russian enemies.

Do These People Really Have Superpowers?

November 19, 2013

Just to lighten things up after a few heavy days in which we have been kept busy fighting off the attempts of lefties to abolish fun and criminalise free speech, here’s something to make you smile.

Do the seventeen people in these video clips really have super powers or are they just nutters who can do one trick and are determined to milk it for their fifteen minutes of fame?

Yes, I can hear the bansturbators now, throwing hissy fits about there being no such thing as Super Heroes.

Follow the link and in particular watch, well all of them. One or two are a tad boring but they only highlight the brilliance of the others.

Freedom Of Speech

October 24, 2012

Our right to Free Speech is under threat:

“The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. Winston’s heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the right! They were wrong and he was right. The obvious, the silly, and the true had got to be defended. Truisms are true, hold on to that! The solid world exists, its laws do not change. Stones are hard, water is wet, objects unsupported fall towards the earth’s centre. With the feeling that he was speaking to O’Brien, and also that he was setting forth an important axiom, he wrote:

Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.”…George Orwell, “1984″

The Threat To Free Speech

June 12, 2012

When the law forbids us to insult or offend somebody, to insult or offend a religion, race, skin colour or sexual preference, free speech and other important democratic rights are under threat.

When the law then goes on to say that anyone accused of these offences has no right to defend themselves and the word of the accuser is sufficient evidence on which to obtain a conviction then we have abandoned justice and returned to the law of the medieval witch hunts.

These stupid laws insult the public and threaten free speech

Beware the siren voices of the left who hide their abhorrence of freedom and invividuality behind a mask of political correctness. Everything we say and do could be interpreted by somebody as aggressive or insulting. There have been cases of a look being deemed racially or sexually harrassing.

Stand up for your right to express your opinions by being grown up enough to ignore things you overhear that might not even refer to you but could equally be said because you behaved like an arse towards somebody else.

Nobody promised life was fair. And making life sterile by imposing conformity on everybody will not actually make life any fairer.
